Custom-made Wigs

Looking for something that little bit extra special?  We can design and create made-to-measure hair pieces especially for you.  Choose from partial or full hair pieces in either natural or synthetic hair to suit your ethnic origin. The end result is a new hairstyle that looks soft, luxurious and 100% natural.

Our hair pieces can be bonded using a number of durable, semi-permanent techniques, customised clips or hypoallergenic tape.  There are also special bases that offer added security - just ask your consultant.

Freedom® Wigs

Freedom Hair™ is a revolutionary new hair replacement product developed by Freedom® Wigs Ltd in New Zealand.  Made of 100% untreated natural human hair, a Freedom Hair™ wig cleverly uses suction technology that creates a vacuum between the scalp and the hair piece.  This means the hair piece will never accidentally dislodge.  Wearers can go swimming, play extreme physical sports and even ride in an open-top sports car.  It’s no coincidence the wig is called ‘Freedom’- in our experience, the product literally gives wearers the freedom to do anything.

How is a Freedom Hair™ wig made?

Due to the high quality of Freedom Hair™ wigs, the manufacturing process takes three months or more.  The process is as follows:

• a hair colour match is selected and a cast of your scalp is made (so that the final silicone cap fits perfectly)
• the colour match, hairstyle details and cast are sent to New Zealand to be manufactured
• to obtain a realistic look and parting, human hairs are inserted into the silicone cap 1,2 or 3 hairs at a time
• the individual’s new wig is returned and a customer fitting arranged
• the wig can be styled and highlighted according to your needs

The Freedom Hair™ wig can be repaired and normally lasts between 1-2 years.

What is the Gripper?

How is the Gripper made?

 The Blow Dryer Test

All Gripper hair replacement products are subject to the ‘blow dryer’ test where strong wind is blown directly into the back of the head. This is in order to make sure wefts are not visible. In order to pass the ‘blow dryer’ test, the hair density at the back top and side sections of each wig is doubled.

Gripper-2 Cool™

The Gripper-2 Cool™ features a hand-tied lace top, with a small open lace front. The advantages of this design include allowing more air to pass through to the scalp to keep the wearer cool. The additional benefit is that the style lies closer to the back of the head. The Gripper-2 Cool™ also vastly reduces the risk of hair inverting through the cap compared to an all-hand-tied back.

Gripper-2 Sport™

At the request of very active wearers, the Gripper-2 Sport™ offers extra grip and a closed lace front. This cap is especially designed for professional or amateur athletes who want a natural-looking hairline.
