As one of the largest UK manufacturers of bespoke hairpieces and wigs, we are constantly on the look-out to buy and use quality European hair.

The demand for quality, untreated, natural hair has never been greater.  Children and young people particularly benefit from this type of hair which provides a soft, manageable and realistic look.

We will pay around £5 per 30grams for hair that is in excellent condition and meets our strict quality standards.  At A&A Studios, we buy hair that is:

1. European in origin
2. ten inches or longer
3. untreated i.e. not dyed or tinted (bleached hair may be acceptable provided it is in very good condition)
4. straight or curly but not frizzy
5. recently cut, shampooed and dried
6. no less than 2 ounces/60 grams in weight

If your hair meets the above requirements, we will happily review its condition and, if suitable, remunerate you by cheque according to its worth.

What to do next

After shampooing and drying your hair, follow these simple steps:

STEP 1

Separate your hair into a number of bunches using elastic hair bands.

STEP 2

Cut the hair between the elastic band and scalp. Please note, the cut ends and points (free ends) must not be mixed up.  Avoid brushing or combing the cut hair.

STEP 3

Holding the cut/tied ends, lay the bunches in a packet which can be folded before sending.  Hair is durable and does not require particular wrapping – a strong envelope will suffice.

STEP 4

Send your package via recorded delivery.  Don’t forget to include your name, address and phone number.

We will acknowledge receipt of your package within seven days.  If your hair is not suitable, we may dispose of it unless you wish it returned.
